bella and edward

ok, so i just finished reading twilight, and it makes me incredibly sad that i dont have the second book yet...why? because i love to read! i love they way books draw me in, the way they make me want to read more and more and never stop. what i love most about reading is the way it makes me feel, the way i become part of the story...i feel as if im really there, feeling everything that the characters feel, being in the same exact place with them...i don't have to worry about my own problems or my own life even, when im reading, i'm only concerened about the characters lives and theri problems, they become my problems too.
reading takes me to a whole new world..many worlds...all different places, all different adventures, none of which i coud have imagine on my own. when im jarred back to reality (the end of a book..someone interrupting me...etc.) i miss it. its like when im in the story itself, somewhere deeper inside i know its all make-believe..but being jarred out of that emphasizes it so much more. wen im reading something that i really like, i miss being there when i'm away from it, i constantly think about it and try to figure out the solutions to the problems, and i will wonder when i can go ack to it again.
reading really is an amazing thing. for me at least. im so glad thati love to read =]

R.I.P. Tiger =(

a little over 5 weeks, elmo had kittens. sadly, tiger, the smallest and runt of the litter, died today. he was my favorite kitten, i always had a soft spot for him. he was so soft and always liked to be held. he would fall asleep in my lap all the time.
but i also knew, somewhere deep down, that something was wrong with him. for one, he didn't eat as much as the other kittens. he was little bitty, probably the scrawniest kitten i've ever seen. when you picked him up he was like a ragdoll. and he wasn't quite as active as the others either.
whenever i was out with them, i favored him and watched out for him. made sure that if elmo was in there too that she would let him nurse and stuff.
but sadly, it wasn't enough. we put him in a shoebox and buried him ealier tonight. but he will always be in our hearts. I love you Tiger! Rest in peace. you will be missed...

not much news

so, not much really goin on right now. i called my dad earlier and asked him if he had fed the fishies, and he said that he had, so that's all good =]

and yesterday there was this weird looking spider that somehow got onto my glasses (the inside of them no less) and it really creeped me out cuz i could kinda feel it on my eye and i could see something so i wiped at it with my finger but it was still there, so i took my glasses off there was this little spider!! so i washed him down the sink, but it must have been some kinda of water spider because a few minutes later, when my brother was brushing his teeth, it came back up the drain. so we washed it down again, but yet again he came back up. so my mom killed it lol.

there's this one show i've been watching, Ace of Cakes (though i haven't seen any new epsisodes latley), and it's this business called Charm City Cakes and they make the most unique awesome cakes ever! like it's really cool!! it would be so sweet to be able to do what they do with cakes, it's amazing.

and then there's the kittens of course =] we think that there might actually be 2boys and 3 girls, it's kinda hard to tell, but i'm pretty sure at least 2 of them are boys, Tiger and River. and poor tiger...he's the runt of the litter and he's so small and scrawny and frail....i'm actually a little worried about him because he's not really that active either. he still wants to nurse but elmo doesn't let him that much, so when i'm out there i kinda favor him a little more than the others. but it's so sad when you pick one of them up and all the others look up at you like "Pick me up too!" they are the most adorable kittens ever!

so there was like A TON of people in youth today...like wow. seriously, there was ALOT. i didn't know there were that many people moving up this year. i've never seen that room so full before. even thomas was saying there was like too many people (not really, because we always have room for more and they should be there, but that's how many people there were!) and i was like yea, seriously. like claustrophobic! lol. nah...i'm not that claustraphobhic. just a little bit. anywyas. that's all. bye

a new place to potty

i finished cleaning out the kittens' area today. gave them new kitten food, put a litter box in there, gave them fresh water, cleaned out all the poop, and just sat with them for a while. i kept putting them in the litterbox too so maybe they will get the point of it...hopefully....poor tiger, he still wants to nurse but he doesn't really get to very much. he got to a little bit today, but then he ended up just eating the kitten food cause elmo kept moving. he's the runt of the litter, lol. hes so cute! i think him and river and velvet are my favorites. not that i don't like rose and tink, cuz i do, but i just like the other ones better for certain reasons. so yea....pooor tink! haha. there's some stacked wood in their area and she fell back behind it today and i was like freaking out cua i saw only 4 kittens so i was looking around for her but i couldnt find her. well rose was on top of the wood and she was looking down behind it so i was like maybe shes down there, so i looked but i didnt see anything. so i kept looking around and i could hear her meowing, but again, i couldn't see her. so finally i moved rose and when i did, tink's head popped up from the hole, and i was like "she is back there!" so i helped her get out but it was kinda funny lol. anyways, i'm all itchy so ima take a shower now, and then i got chores to do, and then maybe school. idk, we'll see lol.

so my dad is going to take care of salt and pepper for me while i'm going. ill prolly call him for the first couple of days just to make sure he remembers to feed them, but after that it should be good. so ill call him before church tomorrow =]

i've got alot of stuff to do tomorrow. i've gotta take care of the kitties (clean out their area and out the liter box in there and change the cat food to kitten food and give them clean water) and i really should clean my room too, as well as school and chores. so maybe (maybe) i'll get up early tomorrow (earlier than normal at least) and get a shower and stuff out of the way. idk, we'll see how that goes.

i watched secret life tonight, and omg! it's so sad right now. adrian wanted to find her father so she went looking for him and when she found him he basically said, don't bother me again, i have a family. and then he left! like how could someone do that to their kid?? it's so sad....especially when you know someone that has had that happened to them =(

and yea, i got all my tests and journal entries done for last week's school, so now i just have to worry about this coming week.

you know, friends are tricky things. you do what you can for them but sometimes that's just not enough. especially if you aren't close friends or if you don't really see each other or talk that often. and it's sad when you do because it's like they're screwing up their life. or talking all weird and saying they think it's time to leave. i think i'm too gulible anyways, so that doesn't help me much. but yea.

anyways. it's late and i should be getting to bed. but i'm really not that tired. brianna made me this cute bookmark! its green and she glued beads and stars and stuff on it, and in the middle it has a keychain thing that says Jesus. it's cool =] i'll have to put it in the current book i'm reading, Twilight. i was teling kevin that i was gonna start reading it and he asked if it had an apple and hand on the front of it, and i was like yea why? and hes like, cuz EVERYONE at school is reading it! lol...yea, it's pretty popular right now and alot of the people on fictionpress talk about it, so im glad im FINALLY reading it, and i wont be out of the loop anymore. i'll actually know what they're talking about. besides that, it's a good book so far =] i'm at chapter 8 and i just started reading it today, lol, so yea. its got 498 pages =D

a day in the life of a fish

it must be a boring life as a fish.like what is there to do? swim around and eat? that's about it really. no fun. no excitement. but there's also no drama. being a fish means you don't have to deal with life's problems. it's just a peaceful way of life.

salt and pepper

so i went driving by myself today for the first time ever!! it was scary, lol. but it was cool too =] i put Breaking Benjamin on in the car and i went to walmart first to get some stuff for the sink and bathtub, cuz they're starting to get clogged, so i was gonna get some liquid plumber foam, but the only one they had had stuff all down the sides, so i ended up not getting any at all. so then i went to pets mart and i got two fishies!! =] i would take pictures, but they're really smal and you can't really seee them in the pics, but yea. they are two female betas, Salt and Pepper (cuz one is whitish and the other blackish). i'm prolly gonna go back either tomorrow or next week and get an algea eater as well, cuz those are good to have in the tank, and they look really small in the tank, so i think another fish should help. the petsmart peerson said i should only put two fish in there, but they look so small that i'm sure an algea eater would be ok in there with them. so yea =] anyways, it was cool, and i got my fishies!! =D

it's done!

yay!! i'm finally done with my cross-stitch!! it's this angel and it's holding up a blanket with hearts on it, and it's for my grandma for Christmas (if i haven't said all that already). now, i just need to find a pillow to put it on and it'll be complete! yay =D

time for school

kevin started his first day of school today! i laugh at him hahahaha....not really, lol. but alot of the girls in xcelerate were really excited to go back to school. i don't know why, but they were. i'm not so sure about kevin, i don't really think he wanted to go back to school, but hey, you gotta do it right?

anyways. that's really all i have to say right now, cuz it's only like 11:57 and i just got up at like 11:30 lol...so yea. i might be back later, we'll see

be the bigger person

ahhh! so much drama! in my opinion, it's stupid. just plain stupid. yea, there are rumors, and no, what they are doing isn't right, but getting revenge on them isn't the right thing either. be the bigger person, drop it, and move on. nobodyy said you have to like them, but don't be starting or restarting or finishing anything with them. just drop it, let it go. that's my take on it.

amazing

so i just watched part of the olympics, the best parts in my opinion. i like the gymnastics and synchronized swimming, and somewhat the diving. and it's just like, wow! amazing. i think that most people think that its not that hard or whatever but it's harder than you would think. get out there and there and try doing what they do and you'll see what i mean.

but i literally just finished watching the rythmic gymnastics and my favorite part is when they use the ribbons. it's just really pretty and amazing and just kinda puts you in a daze, in a good way. i like to watch the shapes and patterns that the ribbons make and stuff. and i will admit, that i really really liked the pinkish white ribbon and the pink outfit, it was just really pretty, beautiful! and it was well performed.

i also watched the synchronized swimming, and i don't know how they can do that! it's hard enough for me to swim, but to do trics and lifts and all this other stuff and be synchronized at the same time....it's just beyond me. i really appreciate and respect those who can do these types of things (the gymnastics and syhronized stuff). it's just really cool!

i think i would like to learn that someday, the whole rythmic gymnastics with ribbons. it would just be cool and fun =] and hard work obviously. i don't know how much training they put into it or whatever or how long it takes to do stuff like that, so i might never learn it, but it would be cool if i could someday =]

kittens are cute!

so i was outside with the kittens today right, and after a little while of them running around meowing, they all crawled into my lap and i know that at least 2 of them went to sleep, and the others were just dozing off and on, it was so sweet!! i was like awwww....it was really peaceful =]

so at the beginning of the summer, Brandon and Steven had said that at the end of the summer, we were gonna have a test over what we had been learning, and the person who did the best was gonna get something really cool! well we took the test last week before we did the whole competition thingy and Brandon said he would grade them and announce winner next wednesday (today). so as we were writing prayer cards he asks me "If I told you that you were one of the highest scores, would you be surprised?" and i was like "Yea" and he said "Well you are" and i was like "Cool!" so i thought you know, i'm one of the highest scores, that's neat! i wonder who won? so then he calls me, amiee, and malorie up on the stage and he says that we were the top three people that did the best on the test. he then proceeds to give malorie and amiee some skittles and hershey bars and has them sit down and then he says something along the lines of "And Amber had the highest score so she gets the prize!" and i was like whoa! really? that's awesome! i really was surprised to win, it was really cool!! so he made me open it on stage, lol, and it was this digital camera! i havn't opened it yet, but i plan to do that tomorrow maybe and check it out, see how it works and everything =] it's cool cool!

also, for all of the seniors this year, the youth directors are planning a seniors mission trip to Nicaragua (sp?) sometime in June for a couple of weeks! i really doubt that i'll be able to go, but i think it would be totally fun and an awesome experience! so i hope that i do get to go, it's just a matter of convincing my mom to let me lol

in other news ,we had a chore change again. but this time we don'r have specific things for like ever, we have different things each dya which i think will work out better because we won't get bored out with doing the same things over and over again, we have something a little different each day, so yea.

umm....hmm....oh! kevin's sweeling has got down alot! like it looks like it isn't even swollen anymore at all, but it still is a little bit, it's just not that noticeable, so hes doin good =] gettin better which is awesome! i love him =] lol

i was thinking today while i was watching Supernanny that i want my future kids to go to a public school. at least for the elementary grades. i think that it will help them socially and learn to interact with other kids, how to behave with other people of different types and such, and i think it would be good for them. of course, not all of the examples and influences will be good ones, but that's where mine and my future husband's parenting will come in to teach them wrong from right, help them to make good choices and theright descions and stuff.in some levels, i cant wait to have kids! but then there's other levels where it's like, im waiting a hundred years before i have kids lol. but i dont really have to worry about that right now anyways cuz im too young to be havin kids

but i do tend to think about the future alot, what it's gonna be like, are we gonna be a happy family, how many kids will we have, where will we live, etc. but i also know that i dont yet realize all the responsibilities of having my own family, which kinda scares me about growing up. i don't think im ready to take on those responsibilities, not only about having a family, but i'm not ready to take on the responsibilities of having my own place, getting my life started so that i can one day have a family. it's a scary process, and i'm not ready for it yet...i might be ready for it, but i don't want to be ready for it, let's say that

well my mom just got home. she said that my grandma's gonna be fine so thats good, she went home this morning

so im in charge right now, lol, cuz my mom didn't get any sleep last night so shes gonna sleep for a few hours. yup yup. and we're getting lindsay and trsitan today..ugh. tristan's alright, he can't talk yet, but omg, lindasay asks soooo many questions and wants you to play with her all the time and ahhh....lol. so that should be fun.

and i got a fish tank today =] i havn't gotten any fish for it yet because the water has to set for 24 hours, but when i go to my dad's next ima stop and get some fishies =] yup yup


i sliced my finger open earlier trying to open the gravel for the bottom of the fish tank, lol. i didn't realize my knife was that sharp, but yup, it is! but its healing pretty quickly so yea

and today has been a good, ling, busy day, but its been fun =] but i also just found out that my grandma had to go the hospital so if yall could please keep her in your thoughts and prayers, that would be awesome

yay! the fast is over! it wasn't too hard to do, but i kept thinking "man...wish i could get on te computer" especially after my dad was showing me all his cool stuff in WoW. but im back now and i'll have to do it again sometime, this time at my mom's house though cuz i get on it there ALOT as well. so yea.

anyways. in sadder news, kevins mom found a house. it's a pretty for sure thing too. they're going to finalize it today. they'll be moving somewhere around january or february. its in saganaw (sp?) and he said it's about 40 minutes away =( but the pluses about it is that he'll still be here until the end of the year and when they do move i'll be able to go to his house and visit. we already got it planned out lol, he's gonna teach me his games and stuff. should be fun, but ima miss him not being just right up the street....it'll be a sad time when he moves

but we're not gonna let that affect us, so that's a good thing. it was really cool! his voice was the last one i heard last night and the first one i heard this morning =] i liked that, it was like awwww lol. he wwas getting up at 6 so he could go to twork with his mom today, so that around 12 they can go finalize the paperwork for the house and stuff. so i asked to please make sure i was awake around 7 30 this morning, and so he called me, made sure i was awake and stuff, it was cool =]

ima be pretty busy today, somewhat busy at least. we're gonna go get my license here in a bit and then a little later we're gonna go meet belinda for lunch, then after that we're gonna go to the grocery store, and then after we come home and put the groceries away, we're gonna go to jon's house to play rockband! and then im going home lol. so yea. somewhat busy day, but it should be fun =]

i finished the bookmark i was working on! i havent cut it yet, but i did use puzzle glue and glued the back of it so it doesn't come undone or anything. ima ask my mom to cut it for me, lol. and then i'll glue the head onto the body, and then give it to my sis

yup yup. it was cool, yesterday my dad came in my room and i was just laying on the bed, and so he came and laid there with me for a minute while he was telling me about the past. he was saying how when he used to pick me up from my mom's my hair would be done all nice and neat and loked all cute and everything, and he would try really hard to do my hair and make it look cute and al but it never quite worked out. i said that i didn't remeber that and he said it's probably a good thing lol. but yea it was cool

so i figured out why my head's been itching, lol. it's cuz of my sunburn! (from Diamond J) but it's going away now, so it's not as itchy anymore lol

so my aunt and grandma were over for the weekend and that was lots of fun =] i havent seen them in a while so it was cool. we all kinda just hung out and had fun, played games, watched olympics, spent time together. it was kew =] we stayed up til like 4 last night lol

they showed the video fro Diamond J today at chuch! that was pretty neat as well. Kevin's looking alot better too. the swelling has gone down alot since i last saw him so yea, =] that's good

oh! i got a new phone!! well kinda lol. i took my mom's old phone (didn't have to pay any actvivation charges or anything on it, so yay!) and its ALOT better than my old one! so even though it;s a used phone, it's new to me =] i've been messing around with it alot and itactually holds a charge, unlike my old phone lol. it also has videos on it =D

and lastly, i wont be on at all tomorrow. anywhere on the internet, not even on the computer. me and miss julie were talking about self-control on friday night, and she said a good way to produce it was to fast. now, fasing doesn't neccessarily mean not eating for a set amount of time, you can fast from everything. so tomorrow, im going to fast from the computer (which will be hard for me cuz i'm ALWAYS on it...especially at my dad's which is where i am now) and help learn some self-control. it should be interesting.

i've got other things to keep me busy tho, like my cross stich for example. it's looking really good with the backstitching!! i also started this bookmark. its a tiger thingy and im going to give it to my sister. shes always looking for a bookmark and i bet she'll like it, so yea

girl talk

so i just got home form Miss Julies about 20 minutes ago and i had fun, mainly we just talked alot of girl talk and bonded and stuff, so yea it was cool =] she gave me a book to borrow and the message bible (which should help me out tremendously!) and so yea

ok, so we named the kittens =] there's actually 4 girls and 1 boy. if we keep one (which i hope we will!) my mom said it's going to be the boy. so yea. His name is Tiger. then the girls are Tink, Rose, River, and Velvet. so cute! i love kittnes =]

so here's an update about the kitties!! As you can see, they have all opened their eyes, and they are moving around ALOT! They arestill unnamed as of now, but I think we're going to name them pretty soon because now that they are bigger, it's easier to tell them apart from one another =]

you know, i've been thinking tonight....and there's alot of times where i wish i had someone else's creativity when it comes to certain things, but if i had what they had, then it wouldn't be mine...it wouldn't be ME expressing ME. so don't be discouraged if you like someone else's whatever betterthan you like yours, because yours is just as special and unique as theirs is. only you could have expressed yourself in tat exact way!

so today was a pretty productive day i guess. i got the gerbil's cage cleaned out, took care of elmo's needs, fed lil bit. and i got my room clean! it looks pretty good too =] too bad it won't stay that way for long =/ but i like it being clean in here, it's not so cluttered anymore and i can actually walk in my room without stepping over anything or whatnot

been talking to kevin alot today too. hedidn't get to go to church today because he's still not feeling so great, but i went to see him after church =] i love that boy, i really do! he's got a pretty cool backyard lol...it's small so it wouldn't work so well for my family because of the kids and all, but i really liked it...especially the pool! lol man, i felt like jumping in there, it would have felt so good!! butthen i would have been all wet walknig home, lol, so yea, i didn't do that

and speaking of church..it was good. not at first though. i've been kinda emotional today (even though i don't think i've realyl shown that) and pretty much none of my friends were there tonight, and i was feeling pretty lonely. mike was there though, and he made me feel a little better. but not alot because he seemed to be pretty down too. we were both happier by the time church ended though, so it's all good.

the actual service was pretty fun though! we didn't really have a service. we had a contest! it was a six part contest and each team could do whatever they wanted out of those six parts, and whichever team had the most points at the end of 30 min won some junk food lol. and surprisingly, my team (team 2, aka: Flippin' Sweet!) won!! it was so cool! i didn't realyl like any of the junk food (except for the pringles, cuz pringles are good lol) but it felt good just to win. especially lately since i've been feeling kinda shot down. but yea. miss julie invited me to go to her house friday night after she gets off of work and we're just gonna hang out like me and miss amy did that one time. it should be fun =] im looking forwardto it!

yup yup! oh, i finished the book i was currently reading, Pitch Black: Color Me Lost from the TrueColors series, so im going to start Torch Red: Color Me Torn next

but i think ima watch some tv first, Supernanny to be exact! i watched secret life last night, good show good show =] i like it!

Tink Inc.: On Their Way to Rockin' the World!

Tink Inc. played a concert today at The Greek Arena, and it was said to have rocked the earth! The songs they played were "Jet Airline", "Black Magic Woman", "Stray Cat Strut", "La Grange", and "Youth Gone Wild". The audoences favorites were "Stray Cat Strut" and "La Grange", both with a score of 99%, followed by "Jet Airline" with a score of 98%. After today's gig, not only did Tink Inc. release a new cd, but they were sponsored by Transit and sent a new sound board to sweeten the deal! The next venue they will be playing at is The Battlefield, of which the concert date has yet to be released.

love of my life =]

This was a challenge thingy on myspace. Basically, the challenge was to write 10 paragraphs about your top friend (Kevin). The paragraphs had to be at least 6 sentences long and had to stay on the subject of your top friend ,it couldn't trail off to something else. (My paragraphs really were 6 sentences, just depending on where you post them it makes them smaller or shorter...) So I decided to post it here =] enjoy!

I first met Kevin on a Wednesday night. It was the second time I had ever gone to this new church and I didn't have any friends there yet. He came up to me and introduced himself and asked me a few questions about myself. He drew me out of my shell little by little and I started following him around that night. When it was time to go in for worship, he stood by me and said that he was going to stand next to his new best friend. That made me feel really good inside! I remember thinking that he was really cute and that maybe we could go out sometime. But I also thought that he was a little too young for me. How wrong I turned out to be!

I wasn’t able to go on the next Wednesday because I had gone to my old church. The next time I went was on a Sunday and Kevin wasn’t there. I was really sad about not seeing him there but thought that maybe he just didn’t come on Sundays. So I went that Wednesday and was so excited when I saw him. I was even more excited when he asked where I had been! It meant that he had missed me not being there. I hung out with him again that night. I was still pretty shy so I didn’t say much, but we sat together during the service. After it was over, we traded phone numbers and we started texting.

It wasn’t very long after that that he asked me to be his girlfriend (through texting of course). Of course, I said yes! I was so excited! I told my mom about it and since she had never seen him before, she wanted to see a picture of him. So I asked him to send me a picture (I still have it too!) of himself. He said that he would and that he wanted one me as well. Well, being a girl, it took me forever to get a picture that was just right to send him, but I finally got one that I thought was good and sent it to him.

We continued talking, mainly through text, but sometimes I would call him, but we never got to see each other except for at church. I didn’t really like this because we lived right up the street from each other. I would hint at going on dates with him and I even asked one of his close friends to talk to him about it, but it never happened. We kept on in the same way, talking throughout the week and seeing each other just on Wednesdays.

Then one night he said he needed to talk to me. He told me that there was this girl at school that he liked and they had a lot in common. He also said that he could see her every day. That made me mad. I thought to myself, “We could see each other more often too if you just tried!” But instead of telling him that, I told him that I understood and we broke up. The next day however, his friend got us back together. Burt I had started liking that friend, and about a week later, I broke up with him to be his friend. I wasn’t happy in our relationship and I thought that his friend would fill in the missing spaces. I had never broken up with anyone before and I felt terrible. But at that point, there was nothing that I could really do.

About a month later, I broke up with his friend. Like in mine and Kevin’s first relationship, I wasn’t happy with the relationship I was currently in. I also liked more than one guy at the time and wasn’t sure who I wanted to be with. But during this time I talked to Kevin a lot. We went to the movies with his mom and agreed that it had been a date. On March 1^st, he asked me to be his girlfriend. He asked me this face to face, which meant a lot to me, because I had always been asked out through texting or on the phone. I said yes, and I’m so glad that I did!

He asked me to go to the Military Ball with him (he was in JROTC). I, of course, said yes. It was at the end of March and I constantly thought about it. When the day finally did come, I was as nervous as a person could be. I had never dressed up for him before and I was wondering what he would think of it. When he saw me, he said “wow” under his breath and he later told me that I looked beautiful. He himself looked very handsome and cute. We took our first pictures together and we left for the ball. I had a wonderful time with him! We danced a lot and talked to his friends and stuff, but the best part was that I got to be with him for a long time that night.

Our relationship was, and is, so much better the second time around! He showed me that he really cared about me. He came to visit me sometimes after school, and he called me every now and then. We talked daily through texting. There are still times when we only see each other once a week, but we go and do stuff now. Mainly we go to the movies, but we have been out to eat a couple times, and sometimes we go to the store with his mom too. (That might not be the most romantic thing to do, but I don’t really care because we get to spend time together)

We’ve been together for a little over five months now, and he continues to show me that he loves me each and every day! He is the best boyfriend I’ve ever had and this is the best relationship I’ve ever been in! I love this boy so so much! He makes me really happy. He can always make me smile and laugh, and he always makes me feel better when I’m down. I get really giddy whenever I’m around him. He’s always saying sweet things to me, and I love the way he kisses me! It feels great to have his lips against mine.

I know that it’s still a long way away, but I hope to one day marry this boy. We still have a lot of growing up to do, individually and in our relationship, but I believe that we will be together forever! I love him, and I know that he loves me too. He really is amazing! I’m so glad that we are together today and I’m so glad that our past relationship didn’t ruin this one that we’re in now. If anything, I think that it made it better, it helped us both to realize what we were doing wrong and improve on those things. I love you Kevin!

Tink Inc. Rox!

Tink Inc. is back in buisness! They went to a venue tonight and played for the first time in a few months. The best song they played was by DAUGHTRY and had a 100% score! They rocked the house and got sponsored! They were invited to play at another venue.

i'm still alive

so..i realize that i havn't updated in a whlie. but that's because i've been busy lol. i went to Diamond J on thursday and we came back on saturday, it was soooo much fun! we got to work hard, goof off, see animals that i've never seen up close, it was awesome! it's beautiful out there too! i want to live out there someday, not specifically on Diamond J, but out in the country. it's amazing, especially at night when you can see all the starrs =] the only thing is i really missed kevin those three days, he couldn't go because he was still recovering from surgery (he's gotten alot beter too! the swelling has gone down alot and he can eat real food now) i called him about half an hour after i got home and we talked for about an hour, and then i callled him again later that night lol . we've been talkin alot since i got home. we also went to see The Mummy after church yesterday...it wasn't good lol. the only good thing was i got to spend time with my baby! but yea, the movie wasn't so great at all...

anways, not much goin on right now, i'm at my dads. im bout to go update the xcelerate website so yea, later

later gator

so i went to the mall with my dad today! i went to claires and got like 5 pairs of earrings! one was a set of 3 so yea. i was expecting to pay 20 dollars for two pairs, but i paid 15 for like 5 because there was a buy two get one free special. so i got these cute black cherry dangles, some red dice dangles, ad then the set of 3 has black studs, black studs with stars, and two different dangles, one is a peace sign and one is like a guitar pick with a skull on it. they're cool =]

we also went to the knife shoppe and i got this wicked cool knife! its blue and it has a skull on it. my dad got the same one except it was red. the guy was tryin to sell my dad a hundred dollar knife, lol.

and we got dippin dots of course! lol then we went to walmart for drinks and food and stuff. we got this mac and cheese, and its really really good! i had some a while ago lol

Airport Frenzy

how do you forget your 3-yr in an airport?? And how do you not know this until 40 minutes later?? i'm talking about the case i just read about where a couple who had 5 kids were late for a plane, so they made a mad dash for the gate and they forgot their 3-yr old. that makes me mad you know! she was safley reunited with her parents because a flight attender assisted the 3-yr old on the next flight but still. the staff had to tell the parents that they forgot their child! that's crazy....

texas heat

so Kevin got a myspace the other day, finally! lol i helped him with the background and music, but he did the rest. so far he's got nine friends i think on his friends list, including tom. but it's pretty cool! he put up some pictures of him when he was younger and of his family and stuff, hes so adrobale in them! lol

anyways, im going on my first mission trip this weekend!! we're going to Diamond J Youth Ranch and we'll be there from thursdya to saturday. im excited! can't wait to go! the only thing is i wont be able to talk to my baby while im there cuz we;re not suposed to be using any electronics while we're there. and he can't come because he'll still be recovering from surgery.poor baby's in pain most of the time, but once it goes down and heals and all, he shouldn't be anymore

i finished reading the cheerleading book that i had been reading and it made me want to be a cheerleader lol. that's the only bad thing about homeschooling is that you don't get any ofthose extra curricular ativities that a public school has =/ but anyways, i started reading this other book but it didn't sound too interesting so i stopped lol. so i don't have any more from the library. but i ordered a couple books the other day from amazon so i should get those soon!!

oh yea, i forgot somethign about the kittens lol. they're gettign like way bigger too! and they move around alot more as well =]

awwww!

so at least two of the kittens have opened their eyes, possibly three of them, i'm not sure. we washed all the edding that was in their bed and i put the final bedding in there this morning. like yesterday we had a few blankets in there but it wasn't really good enough for them, so i went out there just a few minutes ago and i changed it again for the last time. they are soooo cute! we're probably gonna start giving them names pretty soon too!!

as for other news, kevin should be out of his surgery by now and into recovery. dpn't expect to hear from him for a while still though. i learned soemthing about him on wednesday, he's afraid of needles. i didn't know that. so is miss amy. so she told him a story that hopefully helped him with the needles today. wish i could be there with him right now =(
