a fun-filled weekend

so i had a fun and exciting weekend! =] on friday night, we (we being me, my mom, mike, and the kids) went to eat at SouperSalad! and then went to my brother's place for a while. technically, it's actually his and his girlfriend's place now though because she moved in with him. so we played a couple games of Scene It! and some Rockband andwe werethere til about 12 or so. it was cool.

and then the next day we (being the same we i mentioned above) all went to the Dallas Musuem of Nature and Science! it was alot of fun =] my aunt came with us too. we (everybody but my aunt, because she didn't get there til after) went to the planetarium first. it was cool. i liked the part where the dude told us about the night sky more than the little video we watched though lol. and then we checked out some of the exibits and hung around for a bit, then grabbed some lunch. this is when my aunt came. and then everybody except me my mom and my aunt went to the IMAX and they all thought it was pretty cool. it makes the three of us sick tho =/ so after that we checked out the rest of the exhibits and went to the giftshop before it closed. i got a crocodile (no, not a real one, a stuffed one) and named him Jupiter, because that's one of the planets the guy told us about in the planetarium. the other one was venus. so yea it was cool =] things like this bring out the little kid in me, haha. i was such a big "little" kid that day! it was fun, and the kids had fun too. we then proceeded to go to diner at this place called Tony's over where my aunt lives and our uncle met us there. it's an alright place. you could easily make a meal out of the appetozers and bread they bring you lol. i pretty much did. i didn't eat too much of my main meal. then my aunt came home with us and stated the night =]

and then today i took my sister to see High School Musical 3. it was good, just like the others really lol. i think this one had more music than the others did though. but yea it was cool. all of us have just been chilloin since then. my aunt left not too long ago, but she'll be back on Halloween.

brandon is going as Sub-zero, christian as Scorpion, and brianna probably as Hannah Montanna. i havent decided if im dressing up yet or not, but if i do ima dress up as a pirate. same one from the daddy daughter dinner lol. i think i might, just because its such a cool costume lol.

how come when something reminds you of an ex, you either welcome it or push it as far away as possible? it also depends on which ex it is...like there's certain songs that remind of certain exes, and i can listen to certain songs and be like "oh this reminds of so-and-so" but with other songs im like "this reminds me of so-and-so, i can't listen to it"

idk, i just find it weird. its not specifically with songs either. it could be anything. words, phrases, gestures, voices, objects...anything. memories are a funny thing aren't they?

and sometime, i'm going to go through ALL the posts i've written and edit them, because i know i've got alot of mistakes in here. but i like editing =] so it'll give me some practice!

monday, tuesday, happy days!

today is a much better day than yesterday was! yesterday i was so out of it, felt like crap, was tired and hot and yea, not a good day. but today i feel great! refreshed even =] im not even cramping, which is kinda weird cuz normally i still would be, but whatever. im much happier today =]]

belinda stayed home from work today, so im not completley alone today either. she also made cookies!=] snickerdoodles. i dont think ive ever had them before, but they're really good! cookies are always the best right out of the oven...nice and soft and chewy....yea, hey were good lol

but my poor baby isn't feelin good =( he hasnt been for the past few days. he stayed hoeme from school today, and hopefully he will tomorrow too, cuz he needs to rest. i doubt that he'll be going to church tomorrow. poor guy...i think he's got the flu but he says it's something else, he just doesn't know what. but whatever it is, i hope he feels better soon!

i noticed the other day that one of the gems had fallen out of my heart neckalce that my baby gave me for my birthday, and i have no clue when it happened or where it is either. it was vewwy sad =( anyways, i stopped wearing it after that and started wearing a necklace that a friend, Clark, gave me. its a silver cross. i like it and all, but it's not the same...i really liked wearing the heart necklace...i need a new one now lol

so my friend mike called me the other night and asks me if i want a kitten lol. i told him i would except i can only have two =/ but he found this kitten on the way home from work. hes gotten attached to it but he cant keep it because taylor and his mom are allergic to cats. so he might bring it to the church tomorrow and see if anyone wants it. if he does, that kitten will sooooo be my buddy tomorrow lol. he thinks its a girl so he named it Katie, but hes not positive. so i told him i would look for him if he brought her to the church. i hope he finds a good home for it =]

did i make my point?

so something that's been on my mind alot latley is guys with pictures of half naked girls everywhere. i was at my brothers the other day and i noticed he had alot of new pictures. 4 of them were either of girls kissing, girls half naked, or both. and then at my house those kind of pictures are all over the garage. and to me it's very degrading and disrespectful, especially to any other girl in the house. like for my brother, it would be disrespectful to his girlfriend first and then to any other girl who visits him, like me. and at my house it's disrespectful to me, my mom, and my sister first because we all live there, and then to any other girls who visit.

i don't think they mean it that way at all, but i just don't see the point of it. it feels like 1) you're comparing your girl to all those girls in the pictures and 2) saying that you're not as good as them. again, i dont think they mean it this way, but that's what i get out of it. you already have a wife or a girlfriend to fil those human desires of yours, so why put a bunch of other half naked/kissing women up to fantasize over?

anyways, i'm not going to allow that kind of stuff in my house when i grow up. its one think to go out and see these kinds of things just because thats how some people dress or whatever, but its totally different when you purposely put the thoughts and images in your head. and i dont want that in my house.

no offense to anyone. just my opinions.

a pirates life for me...Arg!

so i had alot of fun tonight with my daddy, Captain Jack Sparrow =]]] i'll just start from the beggining...miss raylenes house. we all met there to make dinner for our Superheros. dinner was lasagna. (we also had salad and bread...but we didnt make that) we each did a little part of the actual cooking and then we had these little tin dishes that we put individual servings in for us and our Superhero. some of us (Super Skillet Mama, me, sarah, ashley, and amy) were a little bit late because we were waiting for the lasangas to finish cokking in the oven, so we got started a little bit late, but it was ok. we also each made nameplates for us and our Superheros so we would know where we were going to sit. so i mine said Lil Sparrow and my dad's said CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow...except for i misspelled captain, lol. i spelt it c-a-p-t-i-a-n, haha. i didnt notice this until we were eating dinner though. oh well!

so after we got to the church, i met my dad outside, who of course was Captain Jack Sparrrow =) (he stayed in character all night too, accent and everything! i didnt do the accent cuz i didnt know how lol) and we went in and we all sat down and Super Skillet Mama (known as SSM from here on out) told us how dinner was gonna work out. basically, before we got any food, SSM took pictures of everyone with their Superhero and then we got salad and bread and drinks, and they gave us the lasanga at the tables. it didn't really look like a whole lot, but it filled us up! it was pretty good too =] after that we got to make mud pies =] haha. they had made some pudding and then they had us crush some oreos and sprinkle them over it and then put gummy worms on top and then whipped cream. i mostly just ate the gummy worms lol, but my dad ate the pudding.

after dinner, the crazyness began! we were give a piece of paper to keep score of our points for the night and they had us all make up a team name. our name was "The Pirate Munkays" lol. the papers were different colors: yellow, pink, blue...and....well another color, i dont remember what lol,but basically the same colored paper people were all in the same group. my group had me and my dad (duh), lauren and her uncle and sandra, and abby and her dad. first we went to the Training Arena. we didn't do so good in this round lol. the first game (there were 3 games in this section) was called "Don't Blow It" and we had to keep a kleenex up in the air by blowing on it. it was hard lol. we came in last with 1,000 points. we then played "Bunny Brawl" which was basicaly Chubby Bunny...not as easy as it looks lol. we got to 4 marshmallows before we gave up. they were pretty much gagging me and they were hurting my dads teeth, so we came in last on that one too lol. but the other two teams tied so we got 1,500 points instead of just 1,000. then we did a three-legged race (i dont remember what they called it though) and we came in second on this one!! it was quite interesting lol. but it was fun =]

after that, we went to "Superhero Interviews" and me and my dad both really liked this part of the night. all of the girls sat on one side of the table and all the Superheros on the other, and this was a little wall made of toy bricks (i helped make it!!) so we couldn't see each other. and then Miss Julie asked the Superheors questions about their "sidekicks" and we had to write down our answers. after we wrote our answers, she had the dads say their answers out loud and if our answers matched we got 500 points. after so many questions he switched and had the Suerheros write down their answers and the sidekicks answer out loud. we had the chance to get 7,000 points. we got 1,500 lol. but it was more than anyone else in our group got!! so it was all good =]

after that we went to "Finger Agility". it was fingerpainting =D except the superheros were blindfolded and the sidekicks used the superheros hand(s)/finger(s) to paint a picture. the picture was supposed to be of our favorite vacation together. so being pirates, we painted an island with a palm tree on it and then the ocean with our ship, and the sun lol. it won first place for 3,000 points!! =] so that was alot of fun. we're going to frame it and ill prolly hang it in my room =]

then we went to the final station "Sonic Boom". we did alright here. not great though.it was SingStar, but we didnt pick the right song to sing. we did Ice Ice Baby because out of the ones we heard that was the best, but after hearing the rest of the songs, we could have done better, but oh well. we still got 2,840 points

so after everyone had finished all their stations, we went back and sat down at the tables and they told us the top three best costumes, the top three fan-favorite pictures, the top three judges pictures, and the top three overall. we got best costume for 6,000 points!!! and best judge picture for 3,000 points. and we came in 3rd over all with like 17,340 points =]]] my dad got a pen for winning. they took a picture of all the top three winners togehter.

it was alot of fun and im glad we went =] we talked about it on the way home and said they should do something like that again sometime. i love my daddy =]]

quick update

so i just got home from being with my dad, brother, and brothers girlfriend. first, we went to dinner at this place called Taist of Asian. it's pretty good! makes you full, thats for sure. then wewent back to my brothers apartment and played a little bit of Rockband. but we got tired of that and started playing Scene It! i like that game, its fun =] even though i came in last both games lol. my dad won both of them.

and then tomorrow is the Superhero thing with my dad!! should be fun =]]

well im tired...i think ima clear off my bed and go to sleep. night yall...love you baby

so i've got this idea for a story to write, but it's gonna be more like a letter than a story. if i take my time with it, i think it could be pretty cool =] its based off a true story too.

the Superhero thing is coming up quick! this saturday =] should be fun!

so as it turns out, i didnt get any sleep last night. my ipod was completley dead (and i dont have the USB cord with me to charge it) and i couldnt fall asleep just by laying in bed. so i got up and i was watching Dexter-this serial killer show and its really good. watched it all night. ive watched the first 8 episodes of season 1. i only watched 4 last night, and then 4 the night before that. but now im at a total loss. im still wide awake, tired of watching dexter, dont wanna read...dont reallly know what else to do. my stomachs still botering me a little bit too. and my head. my head is telling me to sleep, but i cant =/

Rocky, my stuffed rottweiler (sp?) has been keeping me company since about 430 this morning. hes just kinda been my buddy. he didnt really watch dexter though, just listened. he was turned away from the tv. hes really soft lol.

i heard both my dad and belinda get up for work. and now theres a guy lawn mowing outside and its making my head hurt more. think ima go try to sleep.

so its 4 o clock in the morning, i havent been to sleep yet, i'm not tired, and now i have nothing to do. i already did things that needed to be done (like clear all the coke cans off my desk) and things that were just interesting (like searching the web for Twilight stuff =]]] ). so now i'm tired of reading, i'm tired of pogo and myspace and google, i dont want to play rockband because i dont want to wake anybody up....and i'm still REALLY thirsty. i dont know why, but i've been really really thirsty like all day. so for the past few hours i've been drinking Vault, an energy drink that drinks like a coke. in fact, it's probably the reason i'm still up right now. but i've been soooo thirsty and that's really the only thing i have left to drink besides rootbeer (which ive had all day) and diet sunkist (which really doesnt taste that great to me). i guess ima have to drink one or the other tomorrow though because i only have 2 cans of rootbeer left and just a tiny bit of Vault....ugh, my stomach hurts now...too much Vault. i feel wired and twitchy. i've probably had almost the whole 2-liter within the past few hours....i've got the chills now lol. well i'm not really tired, but i don't really know what else to do now, so ima go listen to my ipod and see if i cant fall asleep. night everyone, sweet dreams

so i've kinda realized that the story to the Matrix is kinda like Jesus, because in the last movie both Neo (the One) and the Agents die. if Neo hadn't of died, then the world still would have been trapped in the matrix, trapped in their sin. but because he died, the world was set free. it's basically the same thing with Jesus. if Jesus had not diedfor our sins, there would be NO WAY that we would be free, sinless....yea, there are defintily big diffferences between the two (like the fact that Jesus KNEW he was going to die for us and Neo had to find out later) but i thought it was kinda cool that they had that similarity.

also....in the movie, it mentions both Nebacanezzer (sp?) and Trinity (like the Trinity, Father Son and the Holy Spirit)

i've devolped somewhat of a crush on the band We the Kings, lol. they're really pretty cool! i've been listeneing to their songs alot. and i've been watching The Kings Carriage on youtube, haha, funny stuff right there! i want their self-titled cd =]

TWILIGHT is coming out in the theatres on november 21st!!!! it's gonna be so coool!! i'm a little weary about it though because i dont know how well it will hold up to my expectations. so we'll see. but either way, it should be awesoem!

so today was like the best day i've had in a long time! this morning, me and my dad went out for a couple hours and we were looking for costumes for the Superhero Dinner. so we went to the magic store first, and they had alot of cool stuff! all kinds of costumes and everything. we decided we were going to go as pirates =] Jack Sparrow (my dad) and the daughter noone knew he had (me) lol. it's gonna be cool!! the costume came with just about everything you need to be a pirate =] so we were looking for just a few more accessories to go with it, but we never did find any. we went to walmart and the dollar tree, but nothing. so after we found our aweseom costumes (we're gonna try them on within the next few days and see what they actually look like, i'll post pics when i can =]) we went to taco bell for brunch. so it was a cool little outting =]

and then when i got home, me and my mom and my sister all did our nails outside (it was BEAUTIFUL outside today!!). my mom and sister did theirs pink (they have different shades though, not the same one) and i've got a pale purple. it's really pretty =] after those dried we ate lunch outside (we were feeding River and Samy popcorn lol) and then me and my mom played my Disney-Pixar Monopoly (yea, outside too lol. we were outside all day today =]) i was the rat from Rattatouile (sp?) and she was Nemo from Finding Nemo. she was winning for the first half of the game, abut i came back and kicked her butt, lol. she had like everything mortgaged by the end of the game and finally just gave me everything haha. it was fun =] after that game was over, my sister joined us and the three of us played Life. i think that might have been my sister's first time playing it, but she did pretty good. that was fun too.

we finally came in and i did my chores (most of them lol) and my mom started dinner, and all in all, it was a pretty awesome day =]]]

talking about other subjects...the cable dude came out the other day and we got new cable. it's pretty cool. we got On Demand now! it's neat =] and we still have the DVR as well. the kids are happy about it because they now have cable in their room. they watched it alot the first day lol.

and there's like a ghost in my radio. it keeps coming on by itself lol. it's kinda weird

i got a good picture of sammy today! my mom also took a pic of me and river and christian and sammy and it's pretty neat too =] ill put them up later though when i download them to my computer.

we lost one of our babysitting kids this past friday. well two actually, but we hardly had one of them. but yea, they moved so we're not watching them anymore. but we got a 6 week old named Carson and he is ADORABLE! he''s been my buddy while he's here lol. again, ill put pics up later. maybe..he's not my kid so i dont know if i'll put his pic up or not, so we'll see.

anyways, i think that's it. so ima help my mom with dinner so talk atcha later =]

time for playdough!

so the other day, my grandma had this women's conference that lasted most of saturday, so my mom went to it and i watched the kids. well they had been dying to play with playdough like all week, so finally, they got to play with it lol. they made alot of food. gingerbreadmen, spaghetti and meatballs, cookies, sandwhiches, pizza...etc. i made some corn! i made each little nibblet too lol. but anyways, they had fun =] so here's a clip of them. well up there ^ is a clip lol. brandon is the first and last person you see, christian is the other boy, obviously, and brianna is the one in the middle who is saying "no stop it!" cuz she doesnt want to be on film, haha...

here's sammy

so this is sammy. hes a schnoodle (sp?), a mix between a schnauzer (sp?) and a poodle. he was really really energetic one night so i taught him how to play ball =] even though we usually don't play with a ball lol. but it's fun to play with him. the best toy to use is his squeaky chew toy, that way if he doesn't see you throw it, he'll hear it bounce and chase it anyways. it's fun to throw it in the kitchen and watch him slid on the hard floor lol.
i also like to take him on walks. i've been teaching him that he has to stay to the right of me when we walk, and he does pretty good most of the time. i'm trying to teach him to sit. that one's not workin out so well yet tho.
but anyways, thats sammy!

so as most of you know, i'm reading the twilight series. well, i was listening to a song today called "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?" by "B-5" and i cracked up cuz it reminded me of Jacob haha... have you ever been so into a book that you actually laugh at loud in some parts? im guilt of that =]
